Art Guidelines for Custom Printed Paper Cups

File Formats We Accept

Vector files give the cleanest, sharpest print. Send your artwork in one of the following formats:

• Adobe Illustrator (.AI) — preferred, with fonts outlined
• PDF — vector-based, with fonts embedded or outlined
• EPS — vector, fonts outlined
• High-resolution PNG or TIFF — accepted for raster artwork at 300 DPI minimum

Specs at a Glance

Colour

Submit artwork in CMYK for full-colour designs, or specify Pantone (PMS) values for exact brand colour matching. RGB files will be converted to CMYK before printing, which can shift colours — so send CMYK from the start whenever possible.

Brand Colour Matching

If your brand relies on a specific Pantone colour, include the PMS code in your file or in your order notes. We'll match it as closely as the printing process allows.

Fonts & Text

• Outline all fonts before sending your file to avoid font substitution
• Minimum text size: 6 pt for clear legibility
• Avoid ultra-thin typefaces — fine strokes can break up at small sizes
• Reverse text (white on dark) should be at least 8 pt

Bleed & Safe Zone

Extend any background colour or imagery 3 mm beyond the cup's print area to account for slight shifts during production. Keep all logos, text, and critical design elements at least 5 mm inside the print edge so nothing gets cut off or wraps awkwardly around the seam.

What to Avoid

• Hairline strokes thinner than 0.25 pt
• Gradients that fade to 0% (use 5% minimum)
• Low-resolution images pulled from websites or social media
• Critical design elements crossing the cup seam
• Text or logos placed inside the bleed area

How to Submit Your Artwork

Email your files to admin@memodisposables.com along with your order details. Files larger than 20 MB should be sent via WeTransfer, Dropbox, or Google Drive link. Our team will review your artwork within one business day and send a digital proof for approval before production starts.
